Dome Plateau

Moab, Utah
Dome Plateau, Moab

Route Overview:

In 1916, Dewey Bridge became the second-longest suspension bridge west of the Mississippi, stretching more than 500 feet across the Colorado River. Just eight feet wide, it carried wagons, cattle and early automobiles across the river. Today, only its steel towers remain—a silent reminder of one of Utah’s most iconic crossings. And that’s just the beginning. Dewey Bridge is one of several Hidden Wonders, stories and challenges waiting to be uncovered along Dome Plateau.
